We are interested in imported frozen halal chicken according to the Islamic rites, in addition to some points and details that I would appreciate if you consider it as important and reliable conditions to start business with you. Notes are written below: No preservatives or color agents or any items prevented internationally to be added to the carcasses during the packing. And without giving the chicken growth hormones during all breeding stages. Chicken meat should be sound and free of strange odors, flavors, colors, rancidity, and other spoil forms and should maintain all its characteristics. Moisture percentage should not exceed 6%. Date of production should be after date of commencement order, but provided date of validity of the product should not exceed 12 months. According to Standard Specifications: 1-Weight to be between /1200-1700/ grams per each chicken. 2-Each chicken should be packed in plastic material provided to not affect the taste and odor of the chicken. 3-Packing to be done after disposing the water remaining in it and after meat temperature reaches /+4°/. 4-Melting and refreezing the chicken again is not allowed According to Packing & Wrapping: The following should be taken into consideration: 1-The carcasses of the frozen chicken should be wrapped with a cover of one of the suitable plastic material, provided to be sealed tightly and evacuated. 2-The wrapping material should be transparent, so that the chicken or parts thereof can be seen. It should be impermeable and is allowed to be used for foodstuff. Wrapping the chicken with opaque materials is not allowed. 3- The chicken will be packed in a way preventing its contamination with the pathological causes and not leaving any harmful or poisonous effect either to the meat or human health. 4-The wrapped and frozen chicken carcasses should be packed in cartons with suitable thickness and strengthened with longitudinal and transversal plastic straps, to avoid its loosing during the loading and discharging. Cartons should be of uniform size, (8-10) chicken in each one. 5-All means used in transporting the frozen chicken should be tightly sealed and mechanically cooled, equipped with thermometers or any other method internationally accredited to measure the temperatures in all cases. 6-Temperature of the frozen meat should not exceed /-18°/ during shipment. According to labeling, The following data should be written on each final product pack in Arabic as main language. It is possible to write them also in any other essential language in addition to Arabic: 1-Wording"Frozen chicken slaughtered according the Islamic rites". 2- The special seal (Fit for human consumption) and instructions of preservation and storing. 3- Net weight in international units. 4-Date of production (to be after date of commencement order) and date of expiry (validity of the product should not exceed 12 months) and to be imprinted by Thermal seal. 5-Wording"imported specially to Mena Team-Lebanon". 6- Name & address of the slaughterhouse. 7- Country of Origin. 8- Import License. 9- In favor of General Organization for Storage & Marketing.
