Reviews

Exporters.SG review system lets buyers and sellers rate each other after every transaction - creating a transparent, publicly visible record of trading performance that helps the entire community make better sourcing decisions.

What Is the Review System?

After completing a transaction, either party can write a review assessing how the trade went. Reviews are permanent once submitted and serve as a reference for other members evaluating potential trading partners. The system covers both sides of every deal — buyers review sellers and sellers review buyers.

What Gets Reviewed? The 4 Criteria

Criteron For Buyers (reviewing a seller) For Sellers (reviewing a buyer)
On Time Delivery Did the goods received on time as agreed? Did the payment received on time as agreed?
Met Expectations  Did the goods arrived in good condition and met specifications? Was the payment amount correct as indicated in the order?
Support Did the seller provide good customer support and any issues? Can the buyer be contacted easily and were issues resolved promptly?
Repeat Business Will you buy from this seller again? Will you sell to this buyer again?

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit or delete a review after submitting it?

No. Reviews are permanent once submitted. This ensures the integrity of the feedback system and prevents ratings from being manipulated after the fact.

What should I do if I receive a poor review?

First, reach out to the reviewer to understand the issue and offer to resolve it. Second, submit your own review of that transaction to provide your perspective. A small percentage of poor reviews is natural; focus on improving practices to prevent future negative feedback and let the overall pattern of positive reviews reflect your standards.

How do I get more reviews for my company?

Contact trading partners directly, inviting them to submit a review through your member profile page. The more transactions you complete with authenticated members, the more Trust Points you can earn from qualifying reviews.

How do I write a review for another member?

Go to the member's profile page in Exporters.SG and click the Write Review. You'll be guided through the four rating criteria.
