This touchless, sanitary, hands free, automatic lid open trash can uses infrared sensor induction. Place hand or debris about 6" away from the infrared sensor near the lid. It will open automatically and will close in 3 seconds after debris has been released and hand moves away from the sensor. Lid will remain open if debris or hand is within 6" of the infrared sensor.
