Air condition ball bearings are double row angular contact ball bearings. Their
key elements are one outer ring, one inner ring, rolling elements (balls) and
cages that are engineered to reduce noise output with increased tolerance
to heat. These bearings have raceways in both inner and outer rings which
are placed together in the direction of the bearing axis. Air condition ball
bearings are designed to accommodate combined loads of simultaneously
acting radial and axial loads.

Air condition bearings allow designers leverage for precision and high speed
applications. Unlike contact roller bearings, this type of bearings utilize a thin
film of pressurized air to provide a frictionless load bearing interface between
surfaces that would otherwise be in contact with each other. Since they are
non-contact, air condition bearings avoid the traditional problems caused by
friction and wear as well as the need for lubricant.
