Silane coupling agent KBM-403 is an alkoxysilane whose molecules contain expoxy
functional groups. KBM-403 can be used to improve the mechanical strength, moisture
resistance and heat resistance of composite materials consisting of organic resins and
inorganic materials such as glass fiber cloth and fillers.

KBM-403 can be used effectively with many heat-cure resins and thermoplastic resin
composites. These include epoxy resin, phenol resin, nylon, polystyrene, PET, PBT and
ABS(thermoplastic resins). Suitable inorganic materials include glass, silica, mica,
alumina, clay talc, steel, copper and other metals.
