Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves of tea tree and it seems that this oil
is said to
be in use since eighteenth century. When tea tree oil is applied topically on
the human
skin, it helps treating acne, infections and acts as an antiseptic to heal cuts
and
wounds. It is good in treating sore throats, infections in mouth, cough,
bronchitis and
inflammation. Tea tree oil can be applied to treat cuts and burns. Head lice
will be
cleared if you add a few drops of this oil to the shampoo you use. When
added to your
bath, bad odour on your body may go. A few drops can be added to your
washing
powder and your clothes will have a good smell. This oil can be sprayed on
the chairs
and the like and this will keep the germs at bay.
