Egyptian Steel was established in 2010, and succeeded to penetrate the
steel industry in Egypt. The Group operates with the philosophy of
producing safe, high quality products conforming to local and international
standards using the latest state-of-art eco-friendly technology with an eye
on long-term conservation of resources.
Under the holding company are three well-established companies, IIC for
Steel Plants Management, National Port Said Steel (NPSS) and Egyptian
Steel for Building Materials Trading operating four primary factories. Two
existing rolling mills at Port Saied and Alexandria, and 2 new melt shops
Projects at Beni Suef and Ain Sokhna.
Each melt shop plant consists of Consteel EAF 80 ton (+ 40-ton hot heel),
CCM 3 strand (one strand endless rolling 165x165 mm) and two strands
130x130 billet
The annual production for two plant 1,700,000 ton LS (25,000 Ton EAF
dust / year)
The planned expansion projects are designed to boost the company’s
presence in the steel production and produce world class products.
with consteel process the Zn METAL CONTENT IN EAF dust concentrate
two times and reach to 40% Zn metal content in the dust.
