Low density polyethylene can be divided into high pressure method and low pressure
method according to the polymerization method. According to the type of reactor, it
can be divided into kettle method and tubular method. Ethylene is sent to the reactor
as raw material and polymerized under high pressure compression under the action
of initiator. After
the unreacted ethylene is removed by the separator, the material from the reactor is
granulated by melt extrusion, dried, mixed and sent to packaging.

Features:
(1) The film is microemulsion white transparent and soft. The strength is lower than
that of HDPE, and the impact
strength is higher than that of HDPE.
(2) Cold resistance, low temperature resistance and high temperature resistance. The
thicker film can withstand the sterilization process of soaking in hot water at 90 ℃.
(3) Good moisture resistance, stable chemical properties, insoluble in general
solvents.
(4) It has great air permeability, so the storage period of its contents should not be
too long when it is used as food packaging easy to oxidize..
(5) The melting point is 110 ~ 115 ℃, and the processing temperature is 150 ~ 210
℃. If it is in inert gas, the temperature can reach 300 ℃, which is still stable.
However, the melt is easy to degrade in contact with oxygen

Application:
(1) It is suitable for food packaging such as seasoning, pastry, sugar, preserves,
biscuits, milk powder, tea, fish floss and so on.
(2) Pharmaceutical packaging such as tablets and powders, and fiber products
packaging such as shirts, clothing, knitted cotton products and chemical fiber
products. (3)Packaging of daily chemical products such as washing powder, detergent
and cosmetics.
(4) Due to the poor mechanical properties of single-layer PE
film, it is usually used as the inner layer of composite packaging bag, that is, the heat
sealing substrate of multi-layer composite film.
