Phosphoric acid is a corrosive acid that appears as a appears as a clear colourless liquid
with no odour. It is non-volatile and rather viscous, but still purable. Phosphoric acid is
incompatible with strong caustics and it is corrosive to ferrous metals and alloys, and
corrosive to metals and skin, requiring careful handling. It reacts with bases to form water
and respective phosphates which can be utilized in various chemical processes. This
concentraton contains 75% phosphoric acid with 25% water by weight. Other
