All sawn timber can be impregnated by CCA preservatives.



Adverse weather conditions can put great demands on timber structures. For this reason, when timber is used

outdoors or is in contact with water, moisture, concrete or mineral aggregate then pressure-treated timber should

be used. PDZ pressure-treated timber - intended for outdoor use only - is available in traditional pale green.

The impregnation process is carried out by using autoclave, where chemicals (CCA) are impregnated into timber using

vacuum and pressure.
