Eastern white pine wood comes from the species Pinus strobus a softwood known for its
light weight straight
grain and smooth texture. It is easy to cut shape and finish making it popular for furniture
interior trim
paneling cabinetry and general construction. This wood has a pale yellowish-white color
and offers good
workability though it is less dense and more susceptible to dents compared to hardwoods.
