A Heat Recovery Wheel is a high-efficiency rotary air-to-air heat exchanger designed to
recover thermal energy
from exhaust air streams and transfer it to incoming fresh supply air. Integrated into
advanced Air Handling Units
(AHUs) and commercial ventilation systems, the wheel rotates continuously between the
exhaust and supply air
ducts. By reclaiming up to 85% of sensible heat (temperature), it dramatically lowers the
energy required to pre-
heat or pre-cool outdoor air, driving down structural utility costs and reducing the footprint
of core chilling and
heating machinery.
