Torula Yeasts are used as an additive in the mixing of animal feedstuffs, as well as a suppliment for animal feed rations for commercially farmed animals including poultry and animals farmed for fur.

Torula Yeasts are one of the highest quality sources of full-value proteins, adding proteins very effectively to feedstuffs of plant origin. The yeasts also provide various enzymes and hormones, improving the metabolic uptake of materials by the animal, and increasing the digestibility of proteins and carbohydrates contained in traditional animal feed. A fundamental advantage of Torula Yeasts is their level of various B vitamins. The vitamin content of Torula Yeasts exceeds that of fish and bone meal, as well as that of soya meal.
