SHOCARE


Cold applied, fuel resistant surface protection
General description:

SHOCARE is a surface treatment to protect bituminous mix pavements against the chemical attack of fuels and oils. It is an emulsion based on polymeric resins, mineral charges, pigments and special additives. SHOCARE is a highly-stable concentrated product based on aqueous dispersion polymeric resins with no tar-based compounds. SHOCARE is non-inflammable. Once the resin is in place and has hardened, it is totally insoluble in water and in any hydrocarbon or benzene solvent.

Application method:

SHOCARE is usually applied in three coats. The first coat is diluted at max 10-15% in water, while the second and third coats require a smaller degree of dilution (max 5 -10%).
Uses:
 For industrial site parking areas.
 Refinery depots.
 Service stations, airfields and motorways.
 Apron in airports


Consumption:
Its standard consumption may vary from 1.0 Kg/sqrn to 1.5 Kg/sqm depending on the porosity of the surface requiring treatment.
Storage:
Sheltering from weather and freezing temperatures in tightly sealed drums recommended
