Commodity Description
Parboiled Rice is rough rice (rice with the inedible outside hull intact) soaked in warm water under pressure, steamed and dried before milling. The starches in parboiled rice become gelatinized, making it harder and glassier than other rice. Parboiled rice then is milled to produce brown or white rice.
Origin
Our rice is carefully selected from Northeast China, where the rice has 130~180 days of growing cycle, adequate sun and rain, very fertile black soil rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and many other minerals, pure unpolluted river water or well water irrigation, long accumulated temperature, large temperature difference between day and night. All these unique geographical advantages guarantee the unique qualities of the Northeast Rice
